Our company was founded by Donald, a business major and native New Yorker with a passion for resume writing. He's been writing since he was seven years old, starting with short stories in elementary school and moving on to movie and TV scripts in middle school, music in high school, and academic papers and resumes in college.

After studying in the UK and US, Donald was struck by the differences in resume styles and became fascinated by the art of resume writing. His travels around the world exposed him to even more diversity in resume styles, including countries that required pictures on resumes and others that did not. This sparked a deep love for the craft and a desire to help job seekers present themselves to potential employers in the best possible light.

With this passion in mind, Donald founded The Resume Gurus to help job seekers in NYC and beyond create compelling resumes that stand out in a competitive job market. Our team of experienced writers offers a personalized approach to ensure that each resume we create showcases our clients' unique skills and experience.
